Job Requirements
- Must have at least N3 or Qualified Artisan
- Supervisory qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory designation
- At least 5 years post trade experience
- Previous experience on crushing and screening machinery in an open cast mining environment
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Supply the Manager with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and performance
- Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant procedures and instructions
- Clear understanding and adherence to company and client policies and procedures
- Discuss ‘comebacks’ with subordinates to identify any training needs and/or poor work performance
- Review and monitor overtime to ensure that the maximum hours are not exceeded
